Workshops in August

We're so excited to start this new term!  Fresh and with new inspiration we kicked off our classes this week.  Glad to announce that we have two new students, and that we keep on growing.  We will be adding Drama workshops to our programme this term, and we're also very excited to get involved in a creative community project!  More on that in our newsletter :)

Upcoming workshops are on Saturday 24 and 31 August.

Saturday 24 August:
This will be an excavation art workshop!  I don't want to give too much away, but you basically paint layer over each other onto canvas (different mediums) and then use interesting other objects to 'excavate' your picture.  It will take place from 09:00 - 12:00, and costs R200 per person (all materials included).

Saturday 31 August:
Creative writing workshop.  Focussing mainly on aspects and themes of how we can keep on writing.  This workshop explores new and creative ways to help you to keep on writing.  Using different mediums to write on & with, how to come into a good habit of writing every day, and basically just clearing your mind of all the clutter of the everyday things...so that you can write what's really in your heart and mind.  Workshop will take place from 09:00 - 11:00, and costs R200 per person.  Bring along your own notebook (rest of materials will be provided).
